my 2nd gear seems to lagging like crazy. from 40-60 mph, it seems like it takes forever for the needle to pass 60... any reasoning for this?

i havent touched the needles, and i guess overall the car seems to be lagging. I know I've got an EGR and rear O2 sensor code, but people have said egr doesnt really affect performance, and as long as the front o2 sensors are working (which they are, brand new), the rear doesnt really do anything. Unless im missing something
