if youre auto.......put it in neutral, rev it up till like 6k rpm, and then kick it to drive while still flooring the car.........enjoy

i HIGHLY dont recommend doing this cause its VERY bad and hard on the tranny. you could blow your tranny by doing.

a lesson: burning out is stupid & childish....

but if you want to buy a new tranny do the 6K rpm drop ... don't forget to pick up your tranny pieces after that from the road...

First, find a large wall. Park your car facing this wall about 5 feet away. Get of out your car. Go to the wall. Smash your face repeatedly against the wall while reciting this:

I AM SOFA KING WE TODD DID.

Yell it loud so everyone can see and hear you.
Do it for a good 20 minutes so you attracted a crowd.

Once that's done, get in your car and drive yourself to the hospital. You'll probably have severe head wounds and/or a concussion. You might wanna have a friend ride with you, or even driving for you.

Is that detailed enough for you? I got some tips you can use for bashing your head on the wall.

I'll give ya a serious answer. . . . put a cinder block in front of the each of the rear tires, pull up the parking brake. Wet part of the road and put the front tires on the wet part and the back on the dry part. Floor it.

Or just rev a manual to about 3500 drop the clutch and keep it floored, you have to feather the throttle a bit, but you can keep it goingas long as you don't roll very fast

And its different in a front wheel drive in that you have to use the Parking brake to slow yourself down and FWD burnouts are lame.

I know it's bad for the car, but I was also wondering how some guys do those burn outs on rear wheel drives?
Do you hold brake and rev and drop the clutch at the same time ?
I see very often how M3 burns rubber, but would never do that to my brakes.

RWD, hold brakes and drop the clutch.

FWD, throw the car in reverse, roll back going like 3-4mph, drop the clutch and spin away. If you do it right you can hold it at 6500rpm and not move...you may even have to shift into 2nd.

BTW, why do you want to know?

I can get some great wheel hop in my FWD car

As far as with RWD, just playing with the clutch you can leave some nice streaks w/o having to use the breaks

i dont know why people aren't givins serious answers. FWD car hold up the e-brake, rev the car to something above 3k and dump the clutch. and for RWD rev the car the same as fwd and then dump the clutch and at the same time jump on the regular brake. if u do both of these right then u could do a burnout and move very little. remember u need to have some space to practice this if u aren't used to doing it. ohh and water helps

As silly as this question is I can't believe you are telling this poor guy to **** his tranny up by dropping it in gear at a couple thousand rpm...
You can burn it by pulling your e-brake and stomping on the gas. It is that simple. The only question is how long you want to maintain this nonsense? If for a few seconds, do the above. If longer put something under the rear tires.
Well, there is another question.........WHY???

Yeah, whats the point, other than wasting your tires. I've never done any sort of burnout, maybe a chirp of the tires but thats just launching =O

Put car in reverse, stomp gas and get it rolling fast, quickly put in neutral, rev up to 6 grand, slam to 1st gear and floor it. After car stops moving and smoke clears, get out and slap your self for burning out in a fwd car.

Maybe you should learn something relatively cool.......like doing a Rockford Slide. Burnouts are old school from a standstill. It's the part where you drive in reverse as fast as possible, whip the car 180 degrees while shifting to 1st before you get the full 180 and flooring it. THATS impressive......but can still be costly. Think wisely b/c the money you have for mods could very well be used to rebuild your car, which can be avoided in the first place.
