Good and bad stuff
I changed my plugs today at 40k. I went with the NGK Iridium plugs. One of the plugs seemed to have corosion on the outside and inside. It smelled like gas after that plug was removed. The new plugs smoothed out the idle. Any idea if I have a problem brewing? Car seems to run stronger except for the tranny slipping.
My auto tranny is slipping between the 2nd and 3rd shift. The idle jumps from 4k to 4500k then shifts. Just some background info...Car has 40k miles and Traction Control. Any ideas? I put in some Lucas transmission stuff but haven't driven the car around to see if it makes a difference.

You might have worn valve seals... but that seems unlikley on a 99 Max.
As far as the transmission goes I know that the the original automatic-transmission (model F04) shift solenoids allowed slipping and premature wear, but that is for a 1997. It might apply to the 99.
Stillen FSTB, Stillen Rear Sway Bar, Stillen Intake, Cattman Y-Pipe, Cattman Cat-Back Exhaust, Cefiro Chrome Gauge Rings, Cefiro One-Piece Headlights, Cefiro Sports Grill, Infiniti Limited Chrome Kick Plates
