Strut Bars

Are all FRONT strut bars equally sturdy? I know stillen makes a expensive one, and I have found some for 30 bucks, but besides the styling, are they pretty much the same?

I have read in other forums that the higher priced strut bars do not out perform perform the cheaper ones. I guess it all depends on if your into the reconised name brand thing. But as far as strut braces are concerned they all work the same. You just have to decide which one is prettier then the other. Functionallity is equal.....

some people think the higher priced ones are better built, but the majority of people will say to buy a ebay type cheap strut bar. Thats what I have, and I'm happy with it.

this is one of the parts that I don't understand why someone would pay hundreds of dollars for, when you can buy one on e-bay for $20-30. It is a straight bar, whos only function is to connect two strut towers and remain firm. My e-bay one does just that! But if you have to have a $100+ sticker, more power to you

Well good, because if I had to buy a stillen, I wasn't going to get a strut bar... Now I can pick one up in a few days.

they all perform basically the same, the only benefit to the expensive ones is that they look nicer. but who the hell wants to pay $100 more for looks? I'm happy with my ebay one for $30.

Go with the least expensive one. Only reason I went with Stillen is because I got a good deal for both the front and back one on Ebay. I ended up selling the back one because it did not fit due to my amplifiers.
