Went to the track in the 99SEl tonight

Well the weather was good tonight so i headed down to thunder valley to get some runs in. My car is bone stock and i had a best of a 15.71 @ 89.22 mph. My 60ft was ridiculously terrible, the numbers dont lie, 2.432. So with that mph and if i can work a better 60ft i think i can 15.4,15.5 out of my stock car, 5 speed which that is. It was my first time to go to the track so i was a bit ancy, but i think i can drop these times. My scanner is scanning the slips right now and i will have them posted soon.

sounds good...how did you like hitting the track ? think you go back often ? the first few times out are always a learning experience.

im sure you will get a good 60 foot soon and bring the et down. enjoy

I ran a 15.3 w/2.3 @ 91.9 my first run at the trackwith a hacked air box. My other runs were like 15.6 and .8 until i just redlined the thing through third. Pay attention to your shifts and youll drop some tenths. good luck

yeah going to the track was an experience i'll be repeating as i put money into my car, it was a blast and i cant wait to return. I agree on the learning experience part, i wasnt too upset at the numbers given my car is stock and it was my first time to run, i had a hell of a time though. I had 1 run where the launch (in relation to my other launches) was perfect but they sent me down the track before they had the board cleared, so there was no time slip. I was kinda upset cause the run felt strong but hey, i'll mod and go do it again.
