redline second gear??????????

i just installed my warpspeed y pipe and i took it out for a test drive and i was like wow. i told my friend that i redline second gear around 63/64 mph. he also drives a 4th gen max. he said thats all. i have a intake ypipe and catback and he just has an intake. he said he can redline 2nd gear about the same. i got really confused but i came to the conclusion it could be my knock sensor. because i know with my mods i should be faster than him.

what do you guys think. and what do u guys redline second gear at.

Its gears..you can only go so fast in that gear...it all matters how fast you can get there...the only way to push any more miles per hour our of a gear is to get a raised rev limtiter (JWT-ECU---7200 RPM limit)

yea more power...but gearing only brings you sooo fast as in top speed wise...getting there is alot better after doing intake exhaust and what not...

My 1st/2nd gear shift points are 37mph, 60mph. Even when im spraying its the same eventhough im pushing 75hp more....

Or change the final drive or switch to a larger diameter tire...the real final gear.
