For Y-Pipe DIY

I JUST installed my pipe and I have a question regarding the fittment. Is it supposed to be pretty tight where the cat flanges are; as if I had to pull the two pieces together. Is this normal? Also, I notice a little power but not as much as people hype it up as. I do love the power, but the sound is SO much louder. I can't even rev it like I normally do without getting fingers in my direction. Anyways, I jsut wanted to share my experience. Only took my like 5.5 hours so I'm stoked. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Side note: I was in Spokane, WA on Friday, I saw a white Max with Skyline body kit....looks great man, your stance is WAY lower than mine. My $.2.....

yea its gonna be alot tighter. mine was so tight that i couldnt reuse the stock hanger that goes inbetween the y-pipe and the cat. But then again i have an aftermarket cat, and catback so everything on mine fits differently. As for the sound and power goes, mine is really loud since i have a hi flo cat and a obx type-h catback. I feel the power alot in my car ( maybe cause my car is stick) and i noitce it alot more while im driving along in 3rd gear. the power is there but its not gonna let u beat a vette or something. i did keep up wit a highly modded m3 in 3rd gear. that alone is worth the price of the y-pipe.
