Legality of Clear Lenses
Hey, Just wanted to point something out to fellow MAx owners in Connecticut. The Clear Bumper lenses that we all have on our 4th Gens are legal. I have been hearing on the forum that they are only legal with yellow bulbs. This is untrue in Connecticut. In CT, you can have white or yellow turn signals. So those of you in Connecticut who changed the bulbs to yellow thinking that your saving yourself from getting pulled over, change them back to white, and don't worry about a thing.
I'll post later the actual page # in the DMV handbook that tells you this is legal, in case any cop gives you harassment for it.....
Just wanted to let you know, enjoy the rest of day,
- Mike

The box it came in tells you whether or not it meets DOT/NHTSA regulations. If it does, keep the box in the glovebox and take it out if an officer wants to cause a stink. If it doesn't find a bulb box that does and carry it in the glove compartment and say, 'well this came from this box so it must be okay'.
