My clutch fluid unexpectedly drained out the other day, and I'm thinking one of the cylinders or the hose has a leak. I want to replace the hose, preferably with a stainless steel line (does anyone know if the 90-96 300zx ss clutch line would work?) but it looks like there are two hoses on the line from the master to slave cylinders. They are joined together in the middle by the metal thing that they both plug into. What the heck is this piece, and what is it's purpose???

i believe its a drain valve...for bleeding the system but dont take my word for it

i also think it's a drain valve, but i don't know for sure.
i am also interested if there is a stainless steel clutch line swap from the z. anyone?

xsnowpig good idea, but i checked and there's no bleeder valve on it

nissan part# 30655+A (small connector $18.65)
nissan part# 30655+B (large connector $17.58)
