Dual exhaust

I just want to know from those who know about or own dual exhaust from custommaxima.com how they are. Is it worth it? How is it? and other things like that. THanks

From what I've heard, it's overpriced. It seems like most of the people around here with dual exhaust got it custom made at an exhaust shop for much less money.

it one big *** rip off. duals on our car are only for looks anyways. seeing as how you can only do duals from the cat back its not really worth it. duals from the header back is the right way.

goto an exhuast shop and have one made for you. a cat back only does 5whp anyways its much more for noise.

sagamax: ya... so he has a turbo...and that somehow makes his exhaust go and not show? he doesn't have duals now does he. 700hp supras have a single exhaust. i don't see how duals are anything but cosmetic unless they are from seperate headers.

Sadler does not have duals.

But I have his old dual exhaust setup with some tweaks (resonators)

And dual exhaust for our cars are nothing but cosmetic. Same HP gains as single and maybe even a little less, who knows. But I dont think the look can be beat.

and HappyriceFob - My duals ARE dual fart cannons.(or Sadlers old ones) But they are nice dual fart cannons. And they let out big deep farts!

Dual exhaust is definately worth it! True, no big HP gains, but does clear corners, bodykit, HIDs, big rims, tinted windows, LED tails, etc offer any gains either? I think you get my point.
I get compliments on my dual exhaust all the time. Dont get it from custommaxima.com though. any decent exhaust shop should be able to hook you up for less than half the price. Just tell them what you want and if they are any good it should be no problem.

God is to the universe as Sadler is to the Maxima community.

It looks sick on the 3.2tl. The old school one. Idk about our cars. Maybe if we slam and go all out with legit cosmetics it would look better. But nice to see you are doing what you love!
