Knock sensor replacement without intake removal?
I have a code that says my knock sensor is bad. I have a 99 SE with the California motor, I can`t see the knock sensor. Somebody told me they think you have to pull the intake off to get at the sensor on the Ca motors. Has anyone ever changed a knock sensor on a CA motor without removing the intake?

yeah, you can change it without taking it off.
