**pics** New custom Flowmaster Dual Exhaust installed!! **pics**

Hey guy/girls,

Just got back from getting my new Flowmaster dual exhaust setup installed. Overall came out pretty nice, some inperfections, but nothing to big.

Specs:
-Flowmaster 80-series
-2.5inch custom brush bent B-pipe
-3.5inch chrome straight cut tips
-Resonator

and now the pics, excuse the quality, my digi cam is STILL messed up.

I also took some pics with my buddy Timz96SE which took my old dynomax dual system and converted it back to single exhaust. Hes running my old 3.5 slanted cut chrome tip.

This thing sounds GREAT. I wish i woulda got this setup in the first place. Smooth, decently loud OUTSIDE the car, not in. Has that typical flowmaster hum inside the car which i love. Also has a nice burble when you rev it up. Overall im VERY happy.

Tyrexx Thanks!

billy_corgan Sounds clips will come soon. I took some sound clips of my old setup but for some reason, cameras dont like to pick up sound very well. Ill try my best to capture the sound of the flows very very shortly.

takentomax Ive been had the cutouts done for about 7 months. Was somewhat tedious, but not difficult. However, my buddy was the one who actually cut it out as he enjoys putting holes and working on my car. Just have to make sure to take MANY measurements

1FSTMAX sigh..., nice unpainted front lip

metallic97gxe, liqidvenom Thanks!!

Dave B I dont know why you think its that great?!? Floridas nothing special bro. Trust me, right about now we have nothing but disgusting weather and love bugs. For anyone who doesnt know what love bugs are...your lucky. Oh, and thanks for giving a rats a$$ about my exhaust

ImStockBaby Yes, i actually do have pictures form underneath the car, however they arent of very good quality. I will definately try and get some better quality or better angle shots very shortly. Hard to take good angle shots with a lowered car..

Magikone69 I spent 300 bucks on the custom made B-pipe and rear section exhaust, NOT including the $70 flowmaster or $40 tips. So all in all, roughly 410-ish bucks i spent on damn near full exhaust (already had a Y)

chillinmax shut up!!! Your not supposed to notice the imperfections!! haha

happyricefob Thanks!!

sk24iam Well, as far as no noise above 2K rpms, i have to disagree. Mine just starts getting riled up at 2K. I can hear "muffler" until around 3800rpm when my intake comes on full blast. It has a beautiful tone at cruising speeds and is surprising quiet at idle. This setup is almost TO quiet...Then again, i did have them put on a big a$$ resonator. Also, to give people an idea as to what it sounds like, me and my buddy agreed it has a 350Z/G35C tone to it, very mellow, deep and smooth with a burbly idle.

jdm71488 Yeah, somewhat sleeperish, however i already have noticed so many more people paying attention to my car. They will turn and stare as i drive by. Its an attention getter ive been craving...

What type of mount did you use, to hold the Flow master on the left side? And how much did you pay to cut your rear Bumper? Finally did it Improve anything?

Well actually, their is no muffler on the left side. Theres only one muffler. Its a single inlet, dual crossflow outlet muffler. You can check it out here(click on mufflers and 80series). Heres a really really really crappy pic i just did on paint. Bear with me, its 1:30 a.m. but im sure you can get the jist of it...

And i didnt pay anything for it to be cut, above i stated my buddy cut it...

Just lookied at your diagram, mine is exactly the same. I have 2.5 piping and I'm an auto. Some cosmetic differneces on mien are the tips are 4"(i wnated 3.5 but they didn't have 2 of the one i wanted in stock.) and the cutout on mine sucks. I'll get pics up tomorrow.

Looks great dude...My buddy has an 80 series on his 90 Firebird V6...the sound is loud and rumbly at idle and low rpms but when you get to high rpms it gets high pitched and Honda-like he's actually embarassed of it a lot. I wonder how the Maxima sounds with it.

Yo Eric, I just put on my Y pipe, I have no resonator with the flowmaster..... holy crap that thing is loud. I mean its raspy, loud, and I make car alarms go off. Its fun for the first few hours, then you feel like a ricer. I've gotta get a glasspack to put on.

So you're getting a glass pack, and have a flowmaster? Very bad combination. Please get a perforated resonator, and not a glass pack.

driver824 Yes, im using the camaro/firebird setup. And i can safely say ive noticed some gains. Now...the gains ive felt is since they replaced the stock B-pipe, my car doesnt seem to choke up top around 5500rpms no more. How is it for you other guys with aftermarket B-pipes? My car just seamlessly rises to the redline with ease now. Before i could "hear" when my car needed to change gears, now i must pay attention more to the tach...

JDogg96 The flow is actually 50/50!!! I couldnt believe it since all the extra piping being routed to the other side.

optimus310 Trust me, i will get some clips up soon.

Ludacris The beautiful thing about maximas is you cant hear the muffler really WOT at high RPMs. Mines all intake above 4K RPMs. NO RASP WHATSOEVER!!! I love it!

Ant96GLE I went with a big resonator instead of a glasspack. However, my buddy craig mack ran a 22" glasspack and his setup seemed a tad louder than mine. However, he was F/I. I definately think without a glasspack/resonator it would be raspy. But boy, i love the rumbly sound it makes during a shift/down shift
