Will a muffler of a 98 fit my 96

i know this is a noob kind of a question but will it fit with out any modifications.
i just want to bolt it on and thats it or will i have to get hangers rewelded?

I will fit 100%, but the outlet is just a tad longer. I should know I did this too. You could cut it down some to fix it.
