I am thinking of getting an OEM I30 mirror for my 96 I30....I have heard you can wire it to the dome light to get it to work? does anyone have more detailed info? thanks!

i have but the how too sticky explains for a gentex mirror....I need to know how to splice the I30 mirror into the wiring harness of the dmoe lights...incidently, I have the headliner for a non-sunroof model, but I have an aftermarket sunroof installed (the owner before...).

there's always the map lights too...did you make sure you're not prewired? could be a harness sitting up there.
