Pics of my dual exhaust

OK, got my dual exhaust put on last weekend. I bought a flowmaster 80 series muffler for $92, (2) 4" tips $45 each, and then the piping and resonator at the exhaust shop was $220. It was a pretty good deal. Sounds pretty good with the y pipe. No raspyness. Here are the pics.

Is it loud? well, of course its going to be. I guess I should ask if it is annoying?

Because it looks pretty clean and conservative. It looks very aggresive from the back.

Ya comack is about 20 mins away from me.

It's actually not too loud. It sounds great. If I knekw how to make sound clips I would. you hear while accelerating up to 2k rpms, and then after that it gets less loud. When cruising, theres just a very low drone. I'm very happy with it. I bet it would sound sicker with a 5 speed.

Otherwise,

That looks pretty good. However, $45 each for the tips? What in the world? That is a ton.
I personally don't see the big deal about having "dual exhaust" if it is not really "dual" though.

Looks great! Welcome to the club! I have 4" tips as well, wish they were 3.5". But it grows on you, they only look too big when you get up close. From a distance or when moving, it is hot!!! What size resonator?

The big deal is that it looks sweet. We all know there is no extra gains with dual over single. It's just another cosmetic mod. Don't be jealous

And Brudaddy, you need to aim your drivers side fog down, it is blinding me.

Do you have any close pics of this area, that is the one spot I am worried about.

Well said, duals is what should have came stock on the max.

On a sidenote billy, you should upload your sig onto another host or edit your sig. That cardomain logo always gets in the way

billy_corgan i saw this pic of your spare tire well. Doesn't it ruin the rear section of your maxima like the suspension. I looks like you've been into an accident.

Billy_Corgan....
I said I liked the looks of the dual exhaust. I was just saying that it was a pretty expensive mod, just to have dual pipes.

Anyway, about the fog, I need to aim the passenger's side up, not the driver's side down. I was basically laying on the ground to take that picture.

Duals are not that expensive. Comapare it to a decent single exhaust setup like the Greddy SP2 for ~$500. This guy spent $220 for piping and labor, $100 for a muffler, and another $100 for tips. That is cheaper than the Greddy, and it would even be cheaper without those expensive tips.

EZEmaxima:
The smashed in wheel well does nothing to the ride or suspension. There is nothing there, not connected to anything, just sheet metal. Just no spare tire. I was a bit excessive in smashing mine though.
