water temp needle jumping

water temp needle jumping

whenevr i acelerate my car real hard my temp needle move down this also happens when i start the car in the morning it moves constally up and down for a few minutes randomly

My car also does this...interestingly enough, it only does this when the ambient temp goes from around 30F up to 60F. Beyond and below this range, it won't jump up and down in the morning.

Also, it won't do this for a while whenever I cleaned up the grounding position of the temp sensor. It's near your windshield washer area...you will see two bolts there..one for the horn and the other one for the temp sensor. Clean it up really good and it will stop doing it for a while.
