Tein S Tech springs with stillen kit

right now im on intrax springs and have the stillen kit. the drop is pretty good but the ride is horrible. im looking into a new set of springs. i thought about eibach, but the drop is not low enough for me. id like to get some tein s techs, but i think the drop may be too much with a kit. does anyone here have tein s tech springs and also have a kit as low as the stillen kit? hows the ride? how high off the ground is the front lip? do you think its too low? thanks.

Do you have aftermarket struts along with your intrax? If not..i suggest that you change your stock struts instead of getting new springs.

what kinda "horrible" ride quality are you refering to? IMO it's not the spring problem, it's your tokico HP problem. tokico HP are simple replacement of SE shocks, in other words, tokico HP sux.

i recommend picking up koni yellow or illuminas. they will improve your ride quality a lot.

u should consider about KYB AGX as well...

well i know that my hps arent the greatest struts, but i also heard that intrax springs are one of the more stiffer springs and that they arent progressive.

as for struts, i dont have the money for yellows, and would like to get illuminas, but may not be able to afford thoes either. i considered AGX but was told they sometimes have problems. how are the gr-2s?

gr2s are 15% stiffer than stock SE shocks, better than tokico HP, same setting as 2/4 on KYB AGX.

Gr-2's are not good for tein's. I have Tein S techs with a stillen lip and ionic sides and rears. The front lip is about 4" or so off the ground. The rear is about 5-6" off the ground. This equates to two finger in the front wheel well and one finger in the rears on 18's. Ride is about the same as my Eibachs and can get harsh. I have my AGX's set on 2 and 7.

when i think of these springs i can just imagine them on my car and picture me bouncing alot. would i be wrong. i have front AGX and plan on getting the rears soon with progress all around since ive been told they are the best all around springs. with the tein i know id get a better drop but how is the handling and ride quality on these. would it be paired nicely with some agx's

what the crap? I thought there was gonna be pics.

If your friend just put some TeinS on his car and hes got stock se struts why you askin us? If you like his ride better than yours than switch. If not, keep what you got.

If your worried about scrapin look at your friends car and imagine your kit on it, or measure it. It aslo depends on if you what size tires you got.....
