The drop is 1.7" , would I need a camber kit if I were to lower the car myself, or is that drop not drastic enough?

no you don't, although you'll want to get an alignment done afterwards. I am very, very happy with my Progress/Illumina setup.

 

Jeffeson did you replace your strut mounts when you put the springs in?

 

no I didn't, although they only had about 45,000 miles on them when I changed them out. not sure about your year/mileage, but you may want to replace them if they're old.

what struts are you going with?

 

I didnt use a camber kit on mine. I didnt change anything else either. Its fine for me (btw 74,000 miles).

 

ah, i have 130,000 miles so I was thinking about putting in new strut mounts in the front (I heard rears dont get worn so much, makes sense).
I have AGX adjustables; I'd rather have the Illuminas but Cattman had a Progress/ AGX deal for $500.

 

I've had Progress springs with AGX struts for almost 2 years now, no problems whatsoever
