cornerlamp disassembly

how hard is it to take apart the cornerlamp? you know.. the one next to the headlight. is it the same process as taking apart the headlights? specifically i want to take off the lens so i can "ae" it so it matches my headlights.
thanks.

Just heat it up evenly and it will come apart like anything else. Make sure you heat it evenly as possible or itll melt areas of the plastic and the rubber lining material. Believe me cause i used a heatgun to take them apart and the rubber outside stuff looks a little scorched and a couple edges look melted. Use a putty knife rather than a flat screwdriver cause you most likely end up cracking the thing; believe me i know about cracking the lens too. I painted it all flat black inside and it looks hella tight with amber bulbs.

Im really just saving for my smoked cefiro lights now. Good luck though and take your time.
