99 or 99.5???? + mod question

How do I tell if it is a 99 or a 99.5 SE, and what is the differences in the cars? The second question I have is about what appears to be the largest debate on this site, The intake question. I have a ws y-pipe on the way, did not order a high flow cat because I read it gave no gains worth while, however I would like a intake. Are there any intakes that work better with a standard tranny or with the warpspeed y-pipe?

Thanks guys

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe all 99.5's are SE-Limited's. On the contrary, no 99's are SE-L's. So that's the easiest way to tell (badging).

You can tell by the production date of your car. Nissan retools in June. Early year production date it's a 98.5/99 Later year production date it's a 99.5 Badging doesn't say it. An early model 99 and a late model 98 share the same guts, the same 'mechanics' under the hood, dash, etc. . They wait until the next 'calendar' model year to change what you see on the surface, badging etc..
