I dont think US involvement in Iraq has any thing to do with rising gas prices. Only 1/5 of our oil comes from the Middle East, and gas always goes up during the summer, and every few years this type of dramatic increase happens. Thank God we have our own oil supplies in Texas and Alaska, or else we would have prices like Japan!

$1.69 for 93 in NJ

$2.49 for 93 in SD

$2.65 for 92 in Canada

$2.05 for 91 in Denver

wow, I just paid $2.14/gall. of premium at shell - CHicago metro area

...I actually thought about this thread while at the gas station.

You guys think we have it bad? England pays $4+ per gallon of premium. But I think premium there is a little over 93 octane.

here in sheboygan, its 2.03 for a gallon of premium. Im just like, WTF??? I can barely afford to put gas in it as it is. I just got my new MAX, and I'm paying to get it all cherry and in mint, the only thing is that it looks good, but i leave it in the garage as not to burn gas.

Shell station down the street from my house still at $2.forty something for 91 octane. it was at $2.53 earlier this week. Im even resorting to ARCO/AMPM cheap 87 gas to get me by. i found it for $2.07 but its prolly killing my car slowly.

Do you guys see it coming down any time soon??

Around $1.70 here in Memphis. This morning a radiostation held some promo where they teamed up with a gas station and got the price as low as $1.07, I heard it was a mad house at that place.
