Yes I have a battery in my car now that you can do that with its the same company that puts batterys in the most advanced aircraft . Its dry ,can be run DEAD and recharged at will. It can take shrapnel and still work . It doesnt corrode ,it can be mounted anyway you want. It has a life of about 15 years and 700cca out of 22 lbs. If left idle only loses 1% power a month. Its a great battery nascars use it.

I think this is a good set up for autos who cant handel a lot of boost cause of tranny issues

There have been rumors that the next Skyline/GTR will use electric motors to spool up turbos to gain boost at low RPM. The idea of using batteries is good, but the limitation of 15 second bursts in this setup sucks.

its just like electric water pumps and oil pumps used in many race engines at first some dint like it know so many people love'em it a thing of taste
