Front STB, does it matter which one?

i know i remember reading in one of the stickies about this, but i can't find it now. i know the revotec has received pretty good reviews, and i know the OTTO racing has always been high quality. i just want one that does not require any hood modification and works. please enlighten me. thanks.

I just got my Otto Racing FSTB in today and put it on(took less than 15min). It fits perfect, no modifications whatsoever. I did drive it around the block, nothing hardcore, but the car did seem tighter. I'm going to try it out later on some better curves and see how it handles them.

and check out ebay for one, I got mine cheap(and its brand new)

Get the cheapest one you can find on e-Bay. The $15 ones work just as well as the $175 ones. You are just paying for the name.

I think you should go for just the cheapest ones. I saw three different companies selling on ebay the other day, and all the FSTB's were the same.

I would suggest, however, to go with the company ReVotec because I had a good experience with them. They were very fast, and good. Everything was as expected.

With this bar, there are no hood problems. You do, however, have to file a little in one of the holes. (takes 30 sec.). If you really want to pay a lot more for not having to do that....go ahead.

The ReVotec one looks as good as any I have seen too. Try it out, you will not regret it.

**NOTE: This will not dramatically change your driving of the max. It is hard to notice, and just really stiffens the steering a little. It eliminates a lot of the torque steer, which you will appreciate while accelerating and turning.
