Eibach Drop?

I just went to the car im looking to buy with a freind to get a second opion on the drop. Well we were looking at the car and we both believe the front and the back are dropped. So i took and measure the height between the top of tire and to the bottom of the fender on the outside of the car and the height was 3" all around the car. The tires where 16" wheels with matching tires and the profile was the stock 60. So i was wondering is this about average for a drop with eibach springs and did i measure the gap correcty? Also How high is the stock height for wheel gap because it doesnt seem to be on the internet anywhere.

With the stock tires the gap should be around 2.5 fingers.

if youre thinking about leaving your stock shocks on there youd better have some money set aside to replace them real quick cuz if you put eibachs on there your stock shocks are gonna blow really soon.

Stock 16" tires for the max were 215/55/16, not 60 profile.

Was it 3" from fender edge down to the height of the tire? Or 3" distance between the tire and the fender edge? Since the tire is inset, this will help us help you out. Also, are you sure that it was 3" all around?

and the tires were definately 215/60/16, right?

Rear looks dropped, front looks stock, MAYBE lowered just a bit. Is there a system in the trunk?

The guy isnt getting more money for the mods its just me wanting to know for certine what mods the car has. Also can i buy just the front eibach springs from somewhere. I was thinking if and when i lower the whole car going with the eibachs that may or may not be on the car and some gr2s. Im going to see if i can get a deal set and the car check out on sat. OH and for all the NE members ill be at the Drags on friday.

saw a max in the parking lot and went up to it and did a finger gap measure and i got my whole hand. The car isnt dropped is the 60 profile tires that make it look that way

can you get a pic of the springs? thats a good way to tell. The rears have many many coils and the fronts IIRC have less (then stock). The car doesnt look lowered IMO but the pics are misleading b/c of the angles.
