just wondering for people on maxima.org who has purchased a knock senor off of ebay, if ya have had any trouble with the senor. also who was the ebay seller that you bought from. thanks

 

I bought one from ebay for 90$ shipped. I forget the guy's name. it was a buy it now for 90$ with free shipping. no problems with it. it was a guy with a chinese name. Yoshi something. Great seller. He shipped next day.

I did however see someone selling one today at 53$. Good luck.

 

got mine for 75. It was clean. One of the mods got one from the same dude. He takes them off engines that don't need them and sells. So they have been mounted, but never really used.

 

i got it the from the same guy, yoshi something for $90 buy it now but i haven't heard from him in like a wk. I'm just patiently waiting for it.

Her name seems to be Sakura Yoshi. Sakura stands for Cherry Blossoms. Cherry Blossoms are the trees that surround Capital Hill and the memorials.

I got my KS about 2weeks after my payment... but I wasn't checking my mail everyday.
Brand new, it's working great. I didn't know a KS would make such a difference.

BTW, I don't think you should get used KS's. They only last about 70kish anyway (or so I've read). I want all the life I can get. BTW, I paid 90.

i got one from yoshi off ebay too and it worked fine. it was a geuine nissan part and it arrived in about a week.

 

Me too! I ordered on Monday morning, payed using PayPal and never heard anything back. I sent him an eMail Wednesday morning and still have not received a response. Should I be worried?

 

I ordered the KS from yoshisakura16 on Tuesday and had it 1 week later. He ships by USPS from Bethlehem, PA

It was OEM new in box. Great product and price

how do we know the knock sensor is out? Will the CEL come on or do i have to get the code from the comp?

 

A bad KS by itself will not throw the CEL.. you'd need to pull the codes. If you do get 03 04, it is either detecting knock and retarding your timing, or it's a bad KS.

 

Just got a eMail today from Yoshi saying that the KS has already been shipped and apologizing for not being able to answer me sooner.
