I am looking for this TSB. I suspect, it is somewhere on the site but I am unable to find it due to the disabled search.

No, I do not see it in the TSB thread.

Thanks in advance, for all and any help.

Well it's a TSB not a recall so either way you'll need new coils when you's go bad.

I would still like to read, the actual TSB. I have purchased numbers of vehicles, from this same dealer. I'm pretty sure, if I can make a case, they will pay for some of the replacement costs.

It never hurts to have your "i"s doted and your "t"s crossed, before you present your case.

I understand you want to know what might go wrong with your car but under no circumstances will a dealer do a TSB repair for free. They have no obligation to fix them unless you fork over $$$ for the repairs.

For some reason, you think I'm asking about this "just in case, it happens". Rather, I feel I do have this problem. Now, I want to see what Nissan says about it. I have the Hanshin coils and the mileage is in the correct range.

Yes, I understand that the dealer has no obligation to fix the problem for free. At the same time, I have purchased ~7 vehicles from the same dealer over the past number of years. Dealers can do a lot for you, if they want too. They also want to sell me, my next vehicle.

I want to have my facts straight, before I approach them. Now can someone point me in the direction of NTB01060 or post the actual TSB?

Why wouldn't you be asking about this "in case it happens"? If the coils aren't giving you trouble why would you replace them? If they are fine now then you don't have the problem. Hell I have the problem too cause I know they will go bad, they have 100k on them now. TSBs are there to tell you it might happen so that you are ready in case it happens and you aren't surprised by it. They don't tell you hey, your coils will break eventually so why not replace them now while they are still in perfect running order that way nissan makes some cash off you.

Here are the TSBs: http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/nissa...x.asp?mscssid= but you'll have to pay for a day's subscription to view it. I never seen/got this TSB so I couldn't put it up there...

Thanks JaTaN for your reply. I looked at your URL. Nissan is not very nice. They want you to pay for the info but at the same time place restrictions on posting/using the same info. How did you collect, the TSBs you have?

Again, thanks for the help.

I found them at a site that some how disappeared. I'm glad I got to it before the site went away

I have just one last comment, to place in this thread before going away.

It does not hurt to have the FULL story, before talking to your dealer. I am replacing all six Hanshin coils with the better Mitsubishi units. I also did some pricing before, I approached my dealer. Pinnacle Nissan had the best price but my local dealer will get me the coils at their cost. So I'm getting them, below the Pinnacle price.

I am sure that the dealer, would never have done this, if I had not done my homework.

Laters all.
