I think the 98ers need to get together and get serious about trying to get someone to do an ECU for our car that will not leave us with a CEL...

Update:

I just spoke with Danny and they have not been able to get a 4th Gen Max in the shop to break the limiter. Cheston is going to try to get his car over there next week sometime so stay tuned.

This project is taking some time and I imagine it will be a while longer after Techno gets a car to work with. Also, they ran into a snag with the 5th Gen ECU which I wonder if Icyhot knows about.

Anyways, my board has been modified and we just need a car so hang in there guys. Maybe Cheston will come through for us.

i hope they can get this to work. if so my ECU will be sent off as soon as they start accepting ECUs to adjust the rev limiter on.

TS found one ECU they could upgrade and it's deezo's. They also said several ECUs were used for the 4th gen and they can only modify one of them.

i just sent them an email a week ago and this is the reply I got

"Hi Steve. We are not pursuing the raised rev limter because it has not
worked on many cars. I believe JWT offers an ECU tune with a raised rev
limit."

I asked if i sent it in if they could try and they said they would but most likely it wont work.
