bad clutch!!
So im driving down the road yesterday in 5th gear and when i pushed the gas down a little over half way i notice my clutch startin to slip. the last thing i need right now, but i was wondering about how much longer do i have until its completely shot, and how much will i be lookin at gettin it replaced. Or if there is anyone in the atlanta area, know a good and cheap place to go to, thanks.
Also, what kind of clutch should i look into getting??

Slipped clutch in 5th? I would expect you'll need a new one soon, since 5th applies so much less torque than, say...first
It will cost $600-800 if you get a mechanic to do it. I'd personally buy an OEM clutch, but I've not looked into clutch replacements much, so I can't say for sure.

Can't say for sure, since it will vary from shop to shop.
I am having an Exedy stage 1 (organic) clutch installed within the next two weeks. The shop quoted me at $260 for the clutch, $35 for throwout bearing, $5 for pilot bearing, and $300 for labor.
For comparison purposes, the Nissan dealer quoted me $590 for the labor alone. I hung up after that without asking for the price of the OEM clutch.
