warpspeed y pipe question

warpspeed y pipe question

is the y pipe in the group deal mandrel or non mandrel bent? - also if i get the y pipe and cat conv will i pass emission?

im pretty sure its the madrel bent one. what i heard is people passing their emission by warming up their cat first by driving around for about 30 minutes or so.

its mandrel bent, there was a post from dave B that said dynoing showed that the non mandrel produced the same if not more HP than the mandrel bent, so its not a big deal,

I have the Ws y-pipe and a carsound highflow cat on my car and i did my emissions last month. I was worried about passing emissions, but it passed very well. Also, The emissions test centers usually have a sign that tells you that your car should be at normal operating temperature when you do the test. I wouldn't worry too much about the emissions if you have a functioning cat and O2 sensors.
