location of the EGR solenoid?
Sorry, don't have a pic...but look to the left of the transmission dipstick in front of the manifold and you should see a small green connector with three little hoses coming out of it. This is the EGR control solenoid.
Heres a couple pics of it. Problem is there are three identicval looking valves in the car, the only difference being the color of their electrical connectors. I think this is the right one. These pics are out of a '96

by obd2 i meant teh obd2 ecu.
did anyone experince what i am talkign about, the detonation seems to be very mild but it is present, i think i am going to hook up a wideband o2 to check the AFR.
i dont think the flex section is leaking, i am sure itowudl sound diffrent even if it was
