sunlroof leak.........Help!

Finally, I find out the water come from the sunroof. The water leak into the suroof frame. The frame has two holes in the front of both corners. But I don't see any drain hoses connected. Then the water go though the door side rubber to the carpet. I clean and dry the carpet for an hour. Now I just stuck the both holes and clean the water in the frame everyday. Do anyone know that the frame has drain hoses connected? Where the drain hoses go though? Or Change the plactic around the sunroof lid is better?

Welcome to the foggy sunroof club. Don't worry, we are not alone. I think that the Maxima sunroof is really shiitty. They all leak in some way, even the 04.

Dealer charges $100 to fix it real nice. Much easier than fxcking with it for several weeks. I messed with mine through the hole winter of car washes and leaking water. Finally, I just gave in and its perfect.

So you guys never seen my sunroof rebuild thread huh? You can get it over at VQPower.com also.

For the leak issue, you could have save yourselves cash because you don't have to take the sunroof out to fix it. There are 2 rubber tubes, one on the drivers side pillar and one on the passenger side. All you need to do is make sure they are conected and in good shape.

I just saw look like small double rubber tubs together in the pillar but not connected to sunroof. Is that only the drain hoses in the pillar?

there are 2 in the back also (I forgot about those). You should connect those hoses back to the sunroof.

Look at this link here......

Yeah deezo, I looked at your wrightup and did the drain clearing. It had to be re-shimed because the rear seal wasn't lining up. Good wrightup though.

Finallly I just spent five bucks for the tape. Take out everything on the passenger side ceiling. I can see the drain hose. I use the tape hold the hose. I hope not come out again.
