newbie question....where to hard-wire cigarette lighter 4 port hub?

I just bought a 4 port cigarette lighter hub and want to cut the main end off and wire the hub so that it is only powered when my ignition is on? where should I wire the 12v (the red wire) and where should I wire the ground (black wire)? so that the hub is only powered and therefore all the devices in my hub are powered only when my car is on? I guess this would be a lot like hard-wiring a radar detecter so that it only works when the car is on....I have a 95 maxima by the way....??!?!!????

Take the panel off under the steering wheel. Loosen a bolt and stick the ground wire in there. In your 1995 maxima the ignition wire is a thick black wire with a red stripe. Tap into this with your power wire, tape everything back up.
