For no apparent reason, air bag light on dash is flashing constantly (78K miles). Any insights? Big deal or little deal? Avoiding the dealership at all costs?

 

clear the light & see if it comes back.. if it does than it's something you need fixed... if it doesn't you're good to go.

Gegg send me a private message cause imma go to Nissan with this...i have a 99 SE also and a bunch of ppl that have this problem also have 99 SE's. Mine just come on last saturday and I got it checked for free today and they say that a passenger in my car musta hit the wire underneath the seat and now I need a whole new passengers SIDE AIRBAG ($500). THere is no way imma oay that and then have to worry everytime someone gets in my car. I have read this a lot on here and I think Nissan needs to recall the SE airbags or somethin....I have 106k but like I said just started saturday outta nowhere.
