Help Needed!! Wiper is not working on first two settings

I tried to search on net and other forums but I could not find anything on wipers. I do not have access to search in this forum.

My wipers suddednly stopped working on first two settings. They work on al other settings. Has anyone come across this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this?

I dont want to go to stealership. Any Input in this matter from you guys will be really helpful.

Thanks.

All other settings? There's only 3 total, intermittent, low, and high. Sounds like a fuse or relay. Head down to the fuse panel.

Thanks My4Dsc.

I meant the first setting doesnt work and Wipers dont work when you spray washer fluid on windshield. The other two settings are working. I check fuse panel under steering wheel and they seem to look fine.

Do you guys think there is a problem in Wiper motor or switch?

I tried relay from my friend's Maxima and wiper didn't work on Intermittent and with washer fluid. They work on Slow and high speed as before. I also tried to change wiper switch and still no success. I think the problem is in wiper motor. Does anyone knows how to open wiper motor?

It cant be the motor if they work on the regular settings. Are you sure you checked the all the fuses?

I have the same problem but I only have the problem intermittently. Low and high work fine but the intermittent setting and the wipers turning on with the windshield wash only works sometimes. I have a base SE without variable intermitent wipers, I plan on getting a variable intermittent wiper stalk and I am hopeing that will fix the problem

I checked Fuse & Relay for wiper and few electrical related fuses. They seem fine.

I pulled the "plug kind of" thing from relay from my friend's car and tried it in my car and it made no difference. Is this how relay is checked? There were 5-6 more plugs in same relay box. Do i need to check all of them? Is there a fuse which could be related to wipers?

Its been almost always raining here on east coast and I'm so ****ed off at my wipers.
