The Maxima won't start right away
Ok this is my first post and it is for my moms car!
She has the 98 3.0 SE I beleive! Well she took it to a shop to get a code off her comp! Well it ended up being a Evap code. I don't know the exact term for it but it is in the rear by the tire. I really hope you all can help me out on this! The shop want almost $260 for this and I think that is a bit high by what I heard about it!
Any help will be great appriciated

149935-54U04 VALVE ASSY 40.64
14950-56U18 CANISTER ASSY 46.46
25085-2L900 BOOST SENSOR 151.56
The dealer charges $440 to do the job, basically an hour to diagnose which is BS, then 1.5 hours to do the work, that is about right because I wasted 4 hours of my time trying to do it myself following the instructions from the forum. The forum thinks you can get away with not replacing the boost sensor. If you're going to do the labor, why not spend another $114 discount and replace a part that is actually causing the problem in the first place?? It's not a cleaning that is needed and throwing the code, that %&^&*(*^((*% Boost sensor is leaking, that's why the lamp is lit. But what do I know........
If you get it done post some photos, you will save a lot of people some money. Me, I wish I had golfed instead of wasting my time on it, I ultimately paid the dealer that $440 less 20% = $373 with tax. Good luck.
Why I'd rather have the dealership do it?? First, the car runs properly when they're done, I hate that not being able to start cr**. Also, these parts are hard to identify on websites, which imho is gonna make it tricky to order.
