$760 for Eibach and KYB AGX a good deal?
$760 for Eibach and KYB AGX a good deal?
I called around a few shops in the 626 area code. The best quote I got was $760 for Eibach and KYB AGX installed. What do you guys think? I was also wondering that if Eibachs would give my 98 I30t a nice drop or should I go with something else. I recently got 6th generation 18 inch Maxima rims installed on the car, that's why I need to lower the car.
Any constructive comment would be greatly appreciated.

That better include installation. If not your getting a new one ripped for you. Go with the new setup on Custommaxima. Its a nice subtle drop with very good adjustable struts for $160 less.
$400 for shocks, $150 for springs, $0 for install (if u do it urself, or with a friend's help)...
everyone's pricing is different. i say u post in west forum and ask for socal maxima people to help you out. they will probably charge less. but i'm not them, so u gotta talk to them...
good luck

Including installation, that seems pretty good. I think you can get the AGXs for about $370, plus another $200 for the Eibachs, on the low end. That means you're only being charged about $190 for install. That's alot less than I was quoted for install when I called around.
However, the install's not that hard, especially if you have access to air tools. The Eibachs and AGXs both have a reputation for riding rough. I'd probably get the Tokico kit from CustomMaxima and try the install yourself. I recently installed the Tokico kit from eBay myself, and I'm very happy. Handles great, nice drop, and took about 2 hrs to install.
Hope this helps.

Id say like happyricefob about $400/+ for shocks and I saw Eibachs for around $200... I got $150 for install but thats in New York... and just like he said agin go to that west forum and ask there... I guess I should just say "do what Happyricefob said" But If you dont know a thing about suspensions or tools dont try It without the help of someone who knows... You dont want all your parts and car messed up and then you would get a toll truck to send it to a mechanic when you should have went there in the first place... Thats a No No... Good Luck

That price seems a little high. If you know anything about cars at all or have a friend that could help you out, I would say that you should do it yourself.
happyricefob has it about right. He is not BSing you.
