front spring and strut replacement is pretty rough...

What did all you guys that replaced your front springs/ struts do to take it off and put it on?

Well i had to use a big crow bar and put it on a sinder block and push up on the strut to get it over the cv.... and i loved not knowing how the 3 bolts were to be aligned a specific way...

anyone eles eun into trouble?

or was it just me?

I just turned to steering wheel to get alittle more clearence? And the strut fell right out, it sounds to me like you had a pretty rough time with the mod. Good luck in the future, don't let it bum you out to bad?

sounds like you jacked up only one side of the car. This makes the front sway bar lift the control arm so it can be a pain to remove the strut assembly. Next time either jack up the front, or disconnect the sway bar, or have a friend help out out.

I never though of the jacking one side issue. I guess I assumed that everyone jacks the front totally when working.
