I don't know what it is, but something is really messed up with my car. For starters, I know it is slower than a stock 99 v6 accord and a stock 98 max. I have y pipe, catback, intake. What could be wrong? There is a bad smell coming from the engine and cars behind me can smell it too. Also, I have only 41k miles on the car. Some people say its the knock sensor but I have such low milage. Someone told me its my dual exhaust that is slowing the car down. Is that possible? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

sounds like you're having issues with your catalytic converter... smells like rotten eggs?

Wow, I didn't know the cat would go so soon. I guess I should have it checked out. if it's badn waht's the bet to replace it with? Also, id there anything else that might need to be changed?

new tires
air filter
fuel filter
knock sensor
o2 sensors
clean the IAC
upgrade battery wiring to 0 guage
clean throttle body
Spark Plugs

Throttle body I just did last week, and fuel filter I bought a 300zx one but I can't get the stock one off so I'm going to take it to a shop to get it replaced. Anything else that mgiht need to be looked at?

 

Will a racing pipe make my car louder?

 

yeah quite a bit louder
