broke side-mirror lens...do i need the WHOLE mirror?

broke side-mirror lens...do i need the WHOLE mirror?

stupid me was tossing the football with a friend, and I missed the ball and it his my driver-side mirror. the lens cracked. do i need to buy the whole mirror or do they just sell the lens from the dealer? thanks!

Yes you can get just the lens... shouldn't be expensive at all. The lens pops out. Make sure you do it properly so you do not break the mounting clips on the housing itself.

Look to see if you can buy a lens from someone here on the .org. You might have to get the whole housing, but you could probably get one cheap.

Yes, you can buy a lens easily.
If you go the dealer route, just make sure you specify the lens only. Some say you have to get the entire deal which is in the tune of $200+.

Make sure you specify if the lens is heated or not. If it is heated, you can pop it out of the retaining clips. There will be a wiring set that plugs into mirror body via a connecting plug.
