My auto tranny slips once in a while. Does thsi make sense at all?? In talkin to a few shops they state that an auto tranny clutch slipage is normal for a sc maxima with torgue and valve body upgrades. The car sometimes slips and other times drives fine. PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPP!!!
Thanks in advance for your help guys

I have the same problem with my Clutch {5spd}

It seems to slip if I floor it before the clutch has heated up. I also noticed that it slips when the clutch is really hot after a stop and go drive. It only really connects when the temperature is in the middle,but it still slips a little then. My cure is a new cluch{which is the mail}. You may want to try redline ATF and/or get a tranny cooler. The cooler and Redline ATF should lower the temperature by 60-80 degrees. Best of luck!

SC ruins auto trannys fast!!! You should have a tranny cooler and don's vb mod (or level 10 tranny) to compensate

Well auto's do not have clutches, I think they use a torque converter or something. How many miles on your Auto tranny? How many miles has the SC been on? If you have 100+K miles it may be time to start thinking about getting a tranny rebuild. Just a idea if the problem is getting worse and worse.
