Question about brake calipers

Im trying to replace my rear brake pads, but I have run into a snag. The first side (which was the passenger side) went smoothly no problems at all. But the driver side is a different story... the problem is the piston will not retract when I turn it (clockwise), if anything it has come out about 1/8". So now I cant even get the old pads back on, so I really can't take it anywhere to get looked at. Any suggestions? Ive already tried opening the reservoir, opening the bleeder, and even compressing it with a clamp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried turning it counter-clockwise, just to loosen it up?

Yeah I tried that but nothing happened. I also called the dealer and they said the caliper is probably shot but who knows?

yeah it sounds like you did everything right, next thing would be to rebuild the caliper

Problem solved... I ended up taking the piston off and cleaning everything out. After that, the piston threaded right on and retracted. Had to bleed the whole system though. Anyway thanks for the help.
