Improving Gas Mileage

So, my max is getting to the late 80,000 miles, and I want to do everything possible to get the highest gas mileage I can, especially with these rediculous gas prices. Any suggestions for every and all possible things that can be done.

To start I'm replacing the fuel filter and having new injector caps put on.

What else?

And what does everyone think about the K&N air filter?

I have a K&N Air Filter, They said it should be good stuff but how can you tell?

Keep your front tired at 32 and try not going over 3k rpm.

A drop-in K&N got me an extra 2-3 mpg (that's a good extra 55.5) miles or so per tank of gas.

Hard launches don't help. Drive like a grandma. Keep freeway/highway cruising under 70.

Also things like the Tornado and Turbonator do absolutely nothing.

check knock sensor, and make sure your plugs are good.
-if you need to change your spark plugs change them with NGK ONLY!!!!!
-check air filter
-check tire pressure
-check fuel filter
-do an oil change regularly
-clean TB for better throttle response(might help mpg since air can flow in smoother)
-use only premium gas(i heard premium gets you better mileage and it also performs better)
if i think of more ill post later. good luck

I drive stick, 83k+ miles, use 89 gas and once in a while add that "clean inject" or whatever bottle I buy at gas station which should be giving me cleaner spray. Been getting 350-400 miles. I mostly shift at 2k RPM.
