How to change O2 sensor?

I was going to replace my front left O2 sensor today, but after jacking up the car I could not see how it would be possible with y-pipe on the car.
Is there a way or special tool to change O2 sensors on our cars, or it can be sone only with the pipe off?

I kinda don't want to fiddle with those rusty nuts, so I need your advice guys.

Or borrow one from Autozone rather than buy it; I think they have a loaner program.

yea autozone rents them for like 15 bucks but when u return them they give you your money back. If you are also trying to replace the one behind the cat might as well buy a new one. Mine was like bonded to the pipe when i was putting on a cat back from the heat and bad winters. When it was finally off it was damaged by the socket. But i heard the O2s by the y are not bad at all. good luck
