100 point inspection WORTHLESS!!

I've been wanting to post this for a while but have been busy....

I went to get the 100 point inspection last thursday and this is what i was told:

my air filter needs to be checked.

and these are the things that i KNOW needed attention:

bad CV Joints,
worn pads
bad muffler
engine oil leak
bad struts
low brake fluid (b/c worn pads)
transmission fluid overfilled

yet all of these items on the sheet were checked to be ok!! i wanted to raise hell... but i wasnt in the moood.... it just ****es me off.... all i wanted was for the bastards to tell me where my oil leak was coming from. i mean courtesy or not, you should do your fookin job. im going to go back and **** on them one day when im in a ****ed off mood. overall.... waste of time!

nice.

When I took my 300ZX to a local dealership (Buckeye Nissan, or as I like to call it ****eye Nissan) to get an inspection before I sold it, they found quite a few obvious things, "motor has small miss, one door lock does'nt work" but missed some others like a moderate coolant leak and no belt on the AC. Ohh well, I hate the basterds anyway

Was it free. My last inspection was free and it let me know three good things. Leaking crank seal, 50% brakes, Trans need flushing. If it was free, don't complain.

Well I have mine scheduled for tomorrow at Ancira (San Antonio), so I will check out the free inspection. In the past they have been pretty good over there.

Yes it was free, but that is no excuse for ****ty service! buisness is buisness! dont offer 'courtesy' service if you cant even offer the damn service. the only thing of all problems i had with my car, like i said before, was that i needed to change filter. and i forgot to mention this before, but i have a K&N drop in filter that i changed about 1 month ago!

i hate people who waste my ****in time.

Most people know if there is a "Free" service they could careless cause the odds are your not going to let them do the work cause of their price.

Its kinda like when you go to get an estimate at an expensive autobody shop they simply hate it cause they know your going somewhere else.

My 02 cents

I had mine done yesterday and it was HELPFULL. I have a broken rear motor mount and my brake pads are down to 20%. To fix those things they want $400. I can do the brakes myself, that motor mount though. . . . . . I had a rear license plate light out and they wanted $19 to fix it c'mon dealerships, yall want business you gotta come down on those prices to be at least somewhat competive with da zone and oreilys and advance autoparts. just my 0.02

I just picked up my max 2.5 weeks ago. Can I just walk into any Nissan dealer to ask for this promotion? or do I need some kind of coupon?
