should I be soncerned?

Was going down the interstate today.... 90 mph off of the on ramp to catch up to speed w/ the other cars.... then this guy decides he wants in my lane for no reason what so ever, he pulls in front of me. I slam on the brakes to keep from eating his *** (luckily there was noone behind me)

anyway.. now my steering wheel shakes real bad. and i hear something rattling under the car.. i don't know why either of these are happening...

could the steering wheel be shaking b/c of the flatspotted tires? or warped rotors?

and what could the rattling be?

you could have burnt a flat spot onto your tire. 90 MPH down to 50? 30? Think of a pencil eraser. What happens when you rub too much on one spot? It rubs down at an angle. The same thing happens with your tires.

yea 90 down to around 45-55 somewhere in there....

and i can tell the flatspot on the tire.. so im assuming thats why the steering wheel is shaking so bad.

could doing this cause the frontend to come outa line?

and what could this rattling be?,, may have already been there but it sounds like its directly under the shifter (auto)

HAHA.... i can't spell... *wishes he could change soncerned to concerned

to check for a flat spot, try putting the front wheels in the back and vice-versa, that will definetly tell you if that is your problem. And maybe the excessive vibration is causing the noise you described...
