computer interchange question.

computer interchange question.

I was curious as to how computer interchanges are complient.
If someone could let me know the years that are interchangable and if the transmission needs to be the same. My only doubt is if the 95 is different because their wasn't the OBD-II thingy then.

yea 95 is not OBD2. btw i still don't get your question...are you refering to the ECU? are you trying to swap in aftermarket ECU for you car? are you doing a engine swap?

i think he wants to know about swapping ecu's between different years. all i know is that 96 ecu's work in some cases in 97's. thats the extent of my knowledge about that.

yeah, I found a 95 ecu with that went w/ an automatic car. I have a 96' auto, I was thinking about buying the computer and having it sent to technosquare and having it programed if it was interchangable
