OBD 11 Code reader
To all of you 99 drivers who has that very small screw on their ECU. I was not carefull and ended up breaking the screw off. No damage to the ECU, just could not check or reset the ECU.
I few months ago I bought a code reader on Ebay for $50. I tried it out and got no codes then I tried it on my Integra and thought maybe the thing does not work. I was sure there was something wrong with my car. It had an occasional miss. I now know that a bad coil pack will not throw a code.
The other day on the highway, my service engine soon light started to flash. When I got home, I whipped out this code reader and "BAMM" code P0325.
Cool it does work. Crap, bad knock sensor.
To make a long story short, here is a link to one of this cheap code readers. They are alot easier then going down to that screw. Plus it can reset ECU.

no, autozone lets YOU do it so that YOU are the one responsible.
I bought an Actron off of amazon.com for $130. Reads, erases codes, turns off CEL independently of code status, monitors engine sensors, etc. Plus, i charge people $20 to read codes. It's already paid for itself.
