After speaking to many I have come to the conclusion it is best to have them I heard to many horror stories about hoods flying open on the highway.
I myself drove for a couple of days with out them and noticed that around 60-65 I would see my hood shaking. After I installed the pins, I now notice very little to no movement at all at 80+.

dont they just bolt onto the holes already in the reinforcement bar? i think thats how you do it. my buddy's got a cf hood without hoodpins and on freeways or driving on surface streets at high speeds, i can see the hood fluttering. so youre best bet for safety reasons would be to get em.
i heard they have hood pins with keys so no one can jack your car. if theyve got those, get those. dunno where you can get em though.

hood pins are a must, lets say your hood latch broke on your cf hood ... you couldnt drive the car because the hood would fly up.
