when pollen attacks..

well im a complete newbie when it comes to cars, only 16, so this is my first spring with one. And around here we're just being over run with pollen. plus im the lucky one with a black car so everyone knows were being over run with pollen. so i was wondering if there was anything i could do daily, besides washing it because i dont have that much free time, to get the pollen off. i want to just spray it down with water but im afraid that that would leave nasty water spots all over my car. so what can i do?

no there is nit much at all if you don';t want to hose it off. Hose it off right before you drive it, and the water will dry leaving no spots on most places.

pollen does suck i even have it inside my car when i have the windows down,

Go and burn down ALL the plants around your city. Works like a charm. No pollen and no branches hiting your car when they fall.

I tried that last year! It didn't go well with the authorities. They just don't seem to understand that I like to keep my car clean.

I have the same problem. The pollen is terrible, I wash my car and af ew hours laster its covered in pollen. My max is white, and I have a neighbor with the same year/model max but its black and we park next to each other usually in our driveways.......Seeing them side by side makes me happy that I have a white max

Sounds like the perfect excuse to purchase a car cover?

I hate that ******* mother ****in **** sucking pollen.

I was thinking maybe theres some heavy duty wax with some kind of repelant or something.. At least to make it easier to hose off

If you get a good coat of wax on there, the pollen will not stick quite so badly. I just did this a couple of weeks ago, and it is much better.

I would not recommend using one of those California Dusters if you park outside. You will have sand and grit that you are rubbing into the paint. If you are garage kept, use the duster gently. Otherwise, I would say stay away.

I would not recommend waxing that often....once a month is waaaaayyyyy too often. You should not have to wax more than a couple of times per year, if you do it right. Mine lasts for a long time, because I spend a couple of hours on it when I do it, usually in the spring. You can tell it still have a good wax job on it because it will bead up when you get it wet.
I love those beads.

I also hate the pollen, BTW. I live in Jackson, Mississippi and it can't get any worse than here in the spring. We have so many trees, it is not even funny. Sometimes, you can go out and look at your car and it just looks yellow, and you think that someone tampered with your car...ha ha ha. It sucks.
