looking for an easy way to remove pollen
pollen season again. last year i just sprayed it off with water right before i went somewhere, but that method wasnt too great. im thinking about trying the california car duster this year.
does anyone have any experience with using one? how well does it work on pollen? will it scratch my paint?

The California Duster is awesome! My dad and I both have the big and little ones and as long as its just mostly pollen on your car, meaning no rough dirt or other abrasives, then it will not scratch your paint at all. It also works much better if you keep your car well waxed. Oh, and the small one is great for your interior. Just shake the thing out after use and it'll last for years.
Yup. My vote is for the California Duster too. One thing to remember is if it is brand new, wrap it in newspaper and leave it out in the sun for a day or so. It has a ton of paraffin wax in it. The heat from the sun melts it and lets it get absorbed by the newspaper. Otherwise the first few times you use it, you'll leave big streaks of wax on your paint.
I've had mine for years. Its lookin filthy and nasty but it keeps on workin. I use it to dust the car in the mornings too. Gets rid of any road dust and pollen . Better than washing the car every day. Lets me go 3-4 days between washes in the summer.

They work great +1 on the Duster, and you don't want to wash them because of the wax in it, when u first get it let it sit on newspaper for one day to get the excess wax out of it so it wont streak your paint and then after you do that never wash it, the dirtier it gets the better it works!
Yeah, you can get them alot of places, Autozone, Pepboys, maybe even places like walmart not sure. I got mine years ago when they were first popular at Sharper image. Probly paid out the azz for it but it was money well spent for sure.
